Poly Pizza hosts roughly 10,600 free low-poly models including the rescued Google Poly archive. Every model is a single self-contained .glb file with far lighter geometry than Sketchfab, making it the best source for stylised game assets and scenes that need many props without heavy meshes.

Setup

Before you can use Poly Pizza assets, you need to configure your API key.
1
Get a free API key at poly.pizza/settings/api.
2
In Blender, press N in the 3D viewport and open the BlenderMCP tab.
3
Tick Use Poly Pizza.
4
Paste your API key into the field.
To store the key permanently, go to Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Blender MCP and enter it in the Poly Pizza API Key field. Alternatively, set the environment variable BLENDERMCP_POLYPIZZA_API_KEY before starting Blender.

Searching and Filtering

Poly Pizza models can be filtered to narrow your search. The LLM can apply these filters automatically based on your prompt:

Attribution

About 69% of the Poly Pizza catalog is CC-BY, which requires crediting the creator. When a CC-BY model is imported, attribution is stored as a polypizza_attribution custom property on the imported objects. Filter with licence="CC0" to avoid attribution requirements entirely.

Tools

Blender MCP exposes these Poly Pizza tools to the LLM:
Always pass normalize_size=True and a real-world target_size in metres when downloading. Poly Pizza models come from the Google Poly archive with arbitrary scale, so without normalization they may appear extremely large or small.

Example Prompts

  • “Fill this room with low-poly furniture from Poly Pizza”
  • “Search Poly Pizza for a low-poly chair under a CC0 licence and import one at 1 metre tall”
  • “Add some stylised trees and rocks to the scene”
